Operation Christmas Child was a huge success thanks to you!!
We beat our last year’s number by far! We had 1651 shoeboxes last year
and 1836 this year! Thank you to all that participated in this fun mission!
Start saving things now to put in your boxes next year. Thousands and
thousands of children and whole families come to know the Lord through
this simple gift.
If you didn’t play a part in this mission this year you still can, by praying
that each and every box is delivered to a child that will be blessed by the
gifts, but also learn about Jesus and even come to know Him personally!
Blessings!!

Thank You
Some of you gave money to ship shoe
boxes
To faraway places cross the sea.
Or maybe you helped to pack the cartons.
Or bought thousands of pieces of candy.
Many gave gifts that put big smiles
On the faces of one hundred sixty-five.
Another pushed heavy loads on a dolly.
It takes the efforts of many to keep those
dreams alive!
Thank You!
Pray that children will find Christ as Savior by
studying the books printed in their languages that
will be given to them along with the shoe boxes.
Thanks to friends and family who gave so much that I went above my goal. What will we do next year? Dolores White Kiser

We continue to be blessed with much needed rain and the Fall colors are beautiful out here.
November reservations are picking up and we are having some of our local churches using the facilities out here now, and I am very happy to see this happening. We also have several reservations for December. It is so exciting to see how God works. What an awesome God we serve!!
I have been blessed with an opportunity to go to Israel in December. I am very excited about this trip and would really appreciate your prayers for me while on this trip.
The State Convention was wonderful and it was good to visit with those of you that stopped by my booth. I am always excited to go to the Convention and got a lot of interest in our summer mission program.
AD and Lee DeVore (Lake Chaplains) were at the Convention also and were excited about making their first Convention and helping in the Resort Ministry. They really enjoyed themselves.
GOD BLESS
Barbara Decker
Upcoming Senior Events
The BBA Disaster Relief Feeding Unit was asked to come to McAlester to conduct their associational training session September 10th. We took our large trailer and had a successful training. We conducted the BBA’s training session on October 12th at Caddo First Baptist Church. Several people from Harmony Baptist church east of Atoka came to that session. They became inspired to join when we went to Tushka to help with the tornado disaster.
We took the large trailer to Atoka FBC on October 22nd. They were celebrating the 100th Atoka-Coal Baptist Association anniversary and asked us to prepare hamburgers and hot dogs. Their association supplied all the food and paper goods. We used our grill and prepared a little over two-hundred hamburg-ers and as many hot dogs. We had a good time as well as they did.
Pastor Charles Loyd and I went to Camp Gruber east of Muskogee November 4th and 5th to attend the annual Blue Cap meeting. We got to see the new chapel that is being erected there by Baptist builders and we also got to revisit the place where we fed evacuees of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.

Norman and Peggy Ford are not new around the
county at all. They have been very helpful to many
churches in Bryan Association over the last several
years. They are new to Blue Baptist Church
though.
They have accepted the call to be the pastor at
Blue Baptist Church. Please pray for them and the
church as they begin this new path.
