DESCRIPTION

This slideshow corresponds with a keynote speech on Life Mastery that was given by De Andrea Nichols, Founder of Catalysts by Design. It was shared with members of the St. Louis and Washington University communities during the 2014 Financial Freedom Seminar at the Brown School of Social Work. In the speech, Nichols highlights some of the key principles that guided her journey since living in rural Mississippi and making the commitment to follow her passions for the arts and entrepreneurship. These principles include: 1. Recognize your gift…and use it. 2. Be a master. 3. Produce more than you consume. 4. Be smart. 5. Set a bold vision for your life. 6. Know your worth. 7. Recognize what (and/or who) is holding you back. 8. Eliminate things that deplete you. 9. Let go of fear. 10. Be willing to sacrifice. Want more?
