ELATMA
Andrey is now 17 and there was a time when he could walk. However, later he stopped waking and due to strong spastics in hips area he tend to lie in the position of an embryo.
Diema’s Dream organized Andrey’s examination by a leading orthopedist, ordered special equipment and paid for massages and special treatment sessions for the child.
Now Andrey can sit in a wheelchair without support and even stand up when supported. However he is far from being able to walk. Taking into account that he is quite big and heavy for orphanage personnel to carry him anywhere, he really needs a wheelchair to have any chance of communicating outside the walls of his bedroom.

ELATMA
Lena has a whole package of physical disabilities – her feet are strongly deformed, she has strong spastics in her hands (she keeps them bended) and, what’s worst of all, her spine and therefore whole back is deformed.
After consultation with a leading doctor, purchase of a firm corset and devices to support her legs, she learned to stand up and, when supported, is learning to take a few steps.
Notwithstanding this progress, Lena is not able to go for a walk without a wheelchair.

SHAKIROV ROMAN
Since Roma saw our gifts – the new wheelchairs, he started asking us –«What are these – new wheelchairs? Who are these for? This is my wheelchair, isn’t it?».
We answered it was a regard from Maryand a present from very kind people from a distant land.
Roma remembered Mary right away and sent her the video-message.
Being quite a speaker Roma understands the speech very well, and he could probably tell us much interesting about his uneasy life. But the most important thing is that he could teach us positive reaction to anything happening in this world.
Roma is fond of listening to music and dancing with his hands. He is sociable and amicable. Extensively taking part in different actions (holidays etc.) he needs new wheelchairs to enlarge possibilities.
