+Group Activity Part 1
n Each group will be given an envelope of triangles, all with the same “selected angle”.
n Write the Angle Measure on your group’s Calculating Ratios Worksheet
n Divide the triangles among your group and measure the sides of each triangle to the nearest millimeter.
n Record the measurements on the worksheet.
Part 2
n Determine each indicated ratio and write it as a fraction, then as a decimal with three decimal places.
Part 3
n Find the average of each column.

n Send two people up from your group to place the RED sticker
at the correct value for your ratio.
n Send two people up from your group to place the BLUE
sticker at the correct value for your ratio.
n In your groups, take three minutes to write down any
observations you notice about the points using the back of
