While conducting research into Trammell Crow’s annual shipping costs, Kiger observed that the firm’s significant expenditures were not being rewarded with list price discounts or loyalty offers from its carrier company.

Realizing that a huge number of small to mid-sized businesses would also be experiencing similar challenges, he created a business plan for an enterprise dedicated to meeting the particular needs of this underserved market. The result was Worldwide Express, which began operations in 1995.

Over the years, David Kiger has built Worldwide Express into a major international shipping and

logistics firm with more than 150 franchise locations across the United States.
