Buffalo hides were used to make Robes, Tipi covers, clothing, moccasins, Bags,
and Carrying cases. Deer and Elk were also used to make
clothes The women used beads and bones and
other natural objects that they thought were beautiful to decorate their clothing.
Women wore: Dresses and leggings.
Men wore: Shirts and breechcloths.

The Sioux Tribe would pray to Wakan Tanka, the Great Spirit which was the spirit of the East, West, North and South, Mother Earth, and to the Six Directions.
The Great Spirit represented the unity of all spirits as one.
Sometimes the men in the tribe would pray in solitude for days at a time.
