12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick jumped off the top of an abandon concrete plant to her death.

The teen was tormented mostly by 14-year-old Guadalupe Shaw. Also charged with stalking was Shaw's friend, 12-year-old Katelyn Roman.

Rebecca had attempted suicide the previous year by cutting her wrists. The night before she took the deadly plunge, she sent a message to a boy she met on facebook saying " I'm jumping. I can't take it anymore."

Shaw even posted a facebook status about Rebecca after her death, "Yea IK I bullied REBECCA nd she killed herself but IDGAF"

The 12-year-old was found hanged in her home in Queens. She left a note behind mentioning an online bully.

Grabrielle was found dead by her family.

Police have since taken two computers from the seventh-graders home to further investigate.

The Canadian teenager was gang raped by two 18-year-old men, who are now facing child pornagraphy charges as well.

After she was raped she was bullied online.

Rehtaeh started to develop suicidal thought after she was sexually assualted in 2011 and a picture of the assult was sharedvia phone and online.

Parsons was hospitalized after she tried to hang herself on April 4,2013.

Three days later her family made the tough decision to take her off life support.

One of the men faces two counts of distibution of child pornagraphy.

The other faces one count of distibution of child pornagraphy and one count of producing child pornagraphy.

The men were released because the incident occured while they were minors.

13 year-old Megan Meier's suicide was the result of a cyber hoax.

The mother of an old friend of Megan's made a fake profile to gain Megan's trust and find out if she was saying anything about her daughter.

Megan suffered from low self esteem and was on medications at the time.

Megan had formed a quick connection over a month-long relationship with a cute boy who had befriended her on MySpace.

The alledged 16 year-old said to have lived nearby and was homeschooled.

Not short after all the sweet compliments had turned to insults.

Megan started to recieve e-mails saying upsetting things and posts started popping up saying rude things about her.

Megan soon became depressed and could not understand why her friendship had unraveled

Tina Meier found her daughter's body hanging in her bedroom closet on October 16,2006.

Prevention

All of these tradgedies could have been prevented if people (the bullies) would talk to a professional about all the anger and feelings they have instead of making someones life miserable.

I beleive when someone bullies someone else it is becasue they have low self-esteem.

People need to realize that picking on someone else does not help their situation.

At the end of the day a good moto to stick to is "To treat others the way YOU want to be treated".
