CY-WOODS FIRST KEY CLUB MEETING

KEY CLUB PLEDGE

I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions

KEY CLUB

Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.

Key Club has more than 270,000 members

There are more than 5,300 clubs

Key Club is represented in 35 countries

MEETINGS

Meetings will be held every other Tuesday of the month.

We will have a morning and afternoon meeting. Please try to make it on time in the mornings, we will be closing the doors after 6:50am and 2:45pm.

Attendance- must attend all meetings, we will be keeping attendance for each meeting. You will only get 2 absence's

HOURS

Minimum of 25 hours per semester10 outside hours- 1 photograph hour for 10 key club event photos you send in.

5 donation hours

The more hours you earn the more possibilities of earning awards or receiving an invitation to the key club district convention

LEADERSHIP & SOCIALS Socials are ways to get to know each other and must go to at least one social each semester.

Many leadership positions, plan on having committees and rep positions for freshmen.

APPLICATION Applications are due by October 6,2015 and $25 for membership dues and t-shirt money.

The application is both on the Facebook and the website.

We will have new events most likely every meeting, and the links will be posted after school on the Facebook page.

All events will be posted as signupgeniuses on the Facebook page.

WILDCAT CARNIVAL

Key Club- Car Smash, help decorate cars after school in the Auto Tech room.

Come to the booth! The proceeds go towards our club and making new projects!

Also help out with other booths, set-up, tear down and any other admin needs.

FOOTBALL & SOCCER CONCESSIONS Dyess Park- concessions throughout Fall and Spring, do not need to bring an hours form

Football- Goodson/Spillane, double hours, bring hours forms

GOOD SHEPHERD UNITED METHODIST LIBRARY HELP Help reshelf books, and bring hours forms.

If you would like to be in an orchestra for the church every Sunday for hours please contact me. This is an event that you must be committed for the entire semester.
