CLOUD ADOPTION IS INCREASING – IRISH VIEW
71% of SMEs in Ireland are either already using or have plans to adopt
cloud computing technologies in their business,
This represents a significant increase since April 2013, when the figure was
at 38%.
The number of businesses in Ireland that are still unaware of what cloud
computing is has dropped from 25% to 17%.
Access to information on the go is the primary reason for investing with
75% citing this as the main driver of cloud adoption.

CLOUD ADOPTION IS INCREASING – GLOBAL VIEW
93% of organizations surveyed are running applications or experimenting with
infrastructure-as-a-service.
82% of enterprises have a hybrid cloud strategy, up from 74 percent in 2014.
Cloud is a given and hybrid cloud is the preferred strategy.
