ABOUT USEstablished in 2009, the MojaMoja Brunch, Benefit Concert and afterparty is a premier charity event held during GRAMMY® Awards weekend. MojaMoja has been highlighted in Vanity Fair, Variety, The Huffington Post, SPIN Media, Billboard.biz and VIBE. Year-after-year, MojaMoja is named one of the best events during GRAMMY® Awards weekend and garners more than 2.5 million media impressions annually.

Held at the iconic AVALON Hollywood, MojaMoja has featured performances by Macy Gray, Questlove, Stuart Matthewman, Janelle Monáe, Flying Lotus, and international artists Little Dragon, Hiatus Kaiyote, Los Amigos Invisibles, and Brazilian crooner Seu Jorge.

The event is open to the public and attracts more than 350 key influencers, music lovers and philanthropists who come together at the annual fundraiser to benefit the MojaMoja Innovation Fund. During the past eight years music icons including Nile Rodgers and Sheila E., along with Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Mavis Staples, George Clinton, and Sly Stone have all been honored with the Vanguard Award.

point of differenceFrom the moment doors open to the historic AVALON Hollywood, the MojaMoja Brunch and Benefit Concert is an experience like none other. Guests are greeted with sponsored cocktails and are dressed casually chic for a day time soirée that encourages people to showcase their authentic style.

Celebrity DJs spin while guests dine and enjoy curated and sponsored video content that includes branded entertainment, music videos, movie trailers and product spots.

A range of carefully crafted cuisine options are available, along with vegetarian and vegan offerings. Spirits flow as attendees toast it up to breakout performances and honor iconic artists.

After the brunch and benefit concert, MojaMoja moves the party upstairs to Bardot for MojaMoja Encore, an afterparty that always has surprise performances and DJ sets. Both the brunch and afterparty are ripe for a range of sponsored activations without the same barriers to entry that other events may have during GRAMMY weekend. Moreover, brands get direct access to real consumers as well as key influencers and performers. The event is ticketed and open to the public 21+.

MojaMoja is a beloved event and party for a purpose. Artists donate

their performances to raise awareness and funds for the MojaMoja

Innovation Fund. The fund supports initiatives and nonprofits working

to empower underrepresented, multicultural youth pursuing education

and job preparedness opportunities in science, technology,

engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). Financial

contributions to the MojaMoja Innovation Fund at Liberty Hill

Foundation are tax deductible and have benefited Girl Scouts,

Oxfam America, Teens Exploring Technology and the Common

Ground Foundation.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to provide ten high school and

college students with $2,500 stipends for them to gain practical

experience from summer internships with various STEAM

ventures in Southern California.
