Crystal Report generation in Visual Studio 2010

Open Visual Studio 2010

Select Windows Application form

Select report viewer

form

Click the arrow

Click dock in parent container

Select server explorer

Select connect to DB

Add connection window will appear

Click change button

Select Microsoft Access Database file

Click ok

Select access db from the location

After selecting the file from location click test connection. And connection succeded msg box will

appear. And then click ok.

Database successfully added in data connections.

Click the arrow, select design a new report

Database configuration wizard will appear

Click next

Select dataset then click next

Click next

Click new connection

Click browse and select the db from the location. And click test connection.

Again you will get a message that your test connection succeeded. After this

step the db will be added in new connection. Then click next.

Click yes

Select all the files

Click finish

Report wizard window will appear then click next.

Arrange field window will appear

Click and drag all the db items to column group and drag csalary to values window then click next

You can see the available items

Select any one style and then click finish

All db items will be included in main window then click form.vb

Click the arrow in the form and select Windows application report.

Click run symbol
