Description:The Crestleigh Way Outfall Restoration project was substantially completed on September 14, 2015. The project consisted of the construction of a plunge pool and step pool system to stabilize a highly eroded outfall channel. The goals of the outfall project were to address public safety concerns, stabilize a deeply eroded channel by using natural stream channel design techniques, and provide enhanced water quality. Project Overview:• Constructed a plunge pool at the end of the 27” diameter reinforced concrete storm drainage pipe,

using large imbricated stone• Built four single step cross vane rock structures using natural stream design techniques• Tie newly constructed channel and existing channel into rock cascade• Planted native plants, trees and shrubs to promote reforestation in all disturbed areas• Provided reduction of 2.12 lbs of Total Nitrogen per year, 0.98 lbs of Total Phosphorus per year, and
