COURSE THESIS: ME160(SOLIDWORKS 2009)Reverse-engineered ArtBin® art supply tote with modifications

Shown above is the ArtBin art supply tote by Plano (formerly Flambeau). It is commonly used by designers, fine artists and crafters, and is essentially a repurposed tackle box. I have owned an ArtBin for 25 years, since I was an Industrial Design major at the University of Notre Dame.

This is my SolidWorks interpretation of my ArtBin, with minor tweaks:

The above color fringe plot represents an upward force of 5 lbs. on the up-faces of the center leg of the ABS handle, with a standard mesh and the mount-hole faces as fixed boundaries. This is an approximation, and is not authoritative.
