COURSE SELECTION PROCESS
FOR GRADE 8 COURSES
Place an X next to the name of the diploma path you wish to pursue
Place an x next to the english and math class your have been recommended to take next year
Place the number 1 next to the top choice HS credit class you wish to take if you wish to take one and the number 2 next to the alternate course if your first choice is not available
Number from 1 to 8 in order of preference the 8th grade exploratory classes.
If you have an IEP and you require a resource class or Collab class make a notation here

(USE THE LOG IN INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE BLUE LABEL ON YOUR COURSE REQUEST FORM)

Click on the class registration link on the left side of the page
Notice the 4 required/core classes are already entered for you
Click on the paper/pencil icon for each area to open the available course selections
Notice when you click on the HS Credit Opportunities you will see the classes that are available to 8th grade students to select and earn HS credits if you meet grade requirements. (To select French or Spanish you cannot have earned any grade below a B in your Math and English classes. To select any of the other classes, you cannot have earned more that 1 C in any class.)
When you click on the paper/pencil icon for Exploratory classes you should select your top 5 choices based upon your rankings on the yellow course selection sheet.
For example: Techy Tools was ranked 1
Agri Sci was ranked 2
Engineering was ranked 3
Speech/Drama was ranked 4
Health/Medical was ranked 5
So click on:
When you have made your selections and clicked okay you will see the course selections.
If what you see is correct, click submit at the bottom of the screen and you are done.
