OVERVIEW
This course is designed to cover the most recent advances in breast health
screening, diagnosis, and cancer genetics including methods of detection,
application of new technology, benign disease, and cancer management.
ObjectivesUpon completion of the activity, learners from several disciplines should be able to discuss the latest breast cancer methods of detection, treatment, surveillance and research, and cancer genetics and describe how these advances can be applied to their practice.
Target AudiencePrimary care physicians, OB/GYNs, Internal Medicine physicians, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, and other interested health care professionals.

Continuing Education Credit The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Other health care professionals are awarded 0.6 continuing education units (CEU’s) which are equal to 6.2 contact hours.

Pre-registerAll pre-registrations are due two days prior to the beginning of the conference. Registrations after this date are accepted only as on-site registrations.

CancellationAll cancellations must be in writing and sent to us via U.S. mail, email or fax. Tuition for cancellations postmarked or date stamped before September 28, 2018 will be completely refunded. After September 28 a $35 administrative fee will be assessed. No refunds will be made after October 5, 2018.
