TRANSCRIPT
The program is for violin, soprano, mezzo soprano and organ with songs written by different composers in tribute to the Mother of God. The pieces are written by composers with different Christian background, such as Catholic, Anglican, Protestant and OWWrthodox. With this concert we the performers would like through music to acknowledge the person who is one of the main instruments of the growth of the Christianity:

Ralitsa Tcholakova has performed as a soloist with orchestras and at chamber music series and festivals in over 25 countries. She is the recipient of numerous bursaries, scholarships, awards and grants such as Svetoslav Obretenov Bulgarian National Competition, Sarasota Kiwanis Club, Baden - Baden Lion's Club, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Austrian Ministry of Culture, FACTOR, Europe 2000, Ottawa City Arts Funding, Canada Arts Council, SOCAN foundation and the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs.
Maria Knapik hailed by the New York Times as "the magnetic center of attention" and "the clear star of the show", the Polish-Canadian soprano Maria Knapik shines equally bright on the opera stage as in concert and oratorio performances.
Jennifer Loveless holds a Master’s degree in Organ Performance from McGill University in Montreal. In June 2006, Jennifer was appointed organist at Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica in Ottawa. As a soloist and collaborative artist, Jennifer Loveless has performed across Canada and in Europe. Jennifer has been broadcast on CBC radio, Espace Musique, and on CTV and CBC television.
