AP Biology Concept Map Review!

Choose from the following topics and create a concept map about it. Don’t forget linking

words between terms. I am not supplying you with the key terms to use – you must come up

with those on your own – you can do it! I tried to give you some starting points, but what is

listed is not all inclusive – I am sure there are more major topics/terms that you could include

for each of these.

It would be wise to choose a topic you need to review. This will provide you with an

opportunity to look up terms/concepts that you don’t remember.

Possible topics:

1.)Photosynthesis and cellular respiration

2.)DNA – structure & replication, transcription, translation, regulation of gene expression

3.)Action potential and muscle contraction

4.)Respiratory & circulatory systems – structures, adaptations, heart rate changes

5.)Immune system – primary/secondary response, types of cells

6.)Plants
