What is an adjective?The adjective describes qualities of nouns.-Medellin is a big city.On this case, we can say that the adjective is

“big” because is the word that describes or says any characteristic about medellin.

-My house is small.

ComparativesWe can make the comparative form of an

adjective by adding “er” at the end of the word.

For example:The buses run fast, but the metro runs faster.The Bolivar park’s church is older than other

churches.

Other examplesBogota is bigger than medellin, but medellin

is pretier.My friend friend is twelve years old, but I am

taller than him.

SuperlativesA superlative adjective is used to compare

three or more objects, people, or places. Using the superlative form takes a comparison to the highest degree possible.

My brother is the tallest boy on eight grade.Medellin is one of the biggest in colombia
