Architecture Communifire is built with the latest and greatest in technology platforms, using the ASP.NET 3.5 Framework, C#, jQuery, MS AJAX, and Microsoft SQL Server as the database.  It’s based on a scalable and robust 5‐tier enterprise SOA architecture, fully object oriented code, optimized database schema, strongly typed objects & collections, data caching, a unique state management system, and an extensible provider model ‐‐ ensuring that Communifire can scale to accommodate the most demanding high‐traffic communities. 

Security Communifire is built with security in mind ‐‐ protected against SQL injection attacks and malicious JavaScript code. Communifire uses CAPTCHA image technology to discourage and prevent spammers from automatically submitting your comment and registration forms. Communifire can run as a public community or can run as a private community protected behind a secure login.

Standard license  Developer license 

This license is for organizations that require a social networking and collaboration platform with the standard features.  This is a non source code version that you are able to install on our own servers or hosting.  You can upgrade to the Developer version at any time. 

This license is the most flexible license available.  It provides all of the base features and functionality in the standard license, as well as the complete C# source code and Visual Studio Solution.  You can extend features, build and customize new features, modify the source code, and integrate seamlessly with other applications.  

What you get:  • Licensed & self‐hosted platform. No subscription fees. 

Ever. You can host Communifire on one public domain and on one testing domain.
