DAY ONE

STUDENT BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Respectful

Responsible

Ready

ALL AREAS1. Follow all staff directions and requests.

2. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

3. Carry your ID at all times.

4. Dress for success and follow the dress code!

5. Use appropriate behavior and language.

6. Cell phone use is permitted only in non-

instructional areas.

7. All school buildings, events, field trips,

busses, and grounds are drug, tobacco, and

alcohol free zones.

Homeroom

• Be respectful of all students in the homeroom.

• Listen quietly to the announcements so that everyone can hear.

• No passes will be issued by your homeroom teacher.• Only pre-signed passes brought to

homeroom will be honored.

For all periods

1. BE ON TIME!

2. Follow teacher rules.

3. Be prepared and stay on task.

LMC

Rules for ALL AREAS and CLASSROOM still apply.

1. ID is required for computer use and materials.

2. A library card or teacher pass is required for entry.

3. All materials must be returned on time—overdue items subject to fees.

HALLS

1.Enter building only through the main entrance.

2.Teachers will only allow one student out of class for a locker or bathroom pass.

3.Report only to your destination.4.Politely show your hall pass, if asked.

LOCKERS AND LOCKER ROOMS

1. Use your OWN locker.2. Keep your combination private.3. Maintain a clean and organized space.4. Lockers are school property—use

washable and removable decorating items.

5. Open and close quietly.

CAFETERIA

Rules for ALL AREAS still apply.1. Have ID and money ready.2. Arrive and leave on time.3. To leave, you must have a pass—

plan ahead.4. Be polite to ALL adults. 5. No more than 8 students per table

and do not move tables or chairs.

BATHROOMS

Rules for ALL AREAS still apply. 1. Use the bathroom between class

periods. You have enough time.

2. WASH HANDS!

3. Report any misconduct and vandalism immediately.

DAY TWO

SCHOOL EVENTS

1. Follow rules and procedures of event.

2. Remember—represent Pioneer in a positive way!

3. Have prearranged transportation and leave promptly after event.

4. If you are failing one or more courses, you will be unable to attend the Home- coming dance, Winter Ball and the Prom, as well as any other dance.

Driving and Parking• Only registered vehicles will be permitted

to park in the student parking lot.• Driving / parking privileges could be

revoked based on: – Referrals – Skipping Class – Tardies

• All students who drive / park must first obtain a parking sticker before they will be allowed to park in the student lot.

Driving and Parking

• Students who violate the driving / parking rules will be issued violation tickets as follows:

1st offense – verbal warning

2nd offense – yellow ticket and no parking

for 3 days

3rd offense – orange ticket and no

parking for 5 days

4th offense – red ticket and towed away

ATTENDANCE1. It is your responsibility to attend

school every day and be on time for all class periods (including lunch).

2. Notes from parents are required after each absence on the day you return—hand in at Greeter’s Desk.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

1. Top 20—top academic students per level posted quarterly.

2. Honor and merit roll posted.

3. Admirable qualities demonstrated.

4. Homeroom competitions.

STUDENT DRESS CODE

1. Shirts must cover your belly, buttocks, back, and chest. Necklines may no be lower than your armpits.

2. Shorts must follow the fingertip rule.

3. Tank tops must have 2 inch width straps.

4. Skirts must be 15 inches or longer.

5. Pants must cover your buttocks and under garments.

6. During the school day only draw string bags may be carried.

7. Hats are to be off and left in your locker.

STUDENT DRESS CODE

Students wearing inappropriate or distracting clothing, head gear, or jewelry will be required to change.

situation or call the office 492-9334.

BULLYINGSome examples…• Purposely not allowing students to sit at

your lunch/library table. • Calling someone a name every time you

see them, all day, every day. • Going out of your way to bump or shove a

person.• Recording someone without consent .• Misuse of social media.• Spreading rumors.

BULLYINGMake a difference: • Stand up for the victim.• Don’t join in.• Stop the rumors.• Find the nearest adult.• Tell a teacher, coach, advisor,

counselor, principal, or any trusted adult who will let the school know.
