• A new public-private innovation model, which has now been running for a few years

• Funded by the European Commission via the EIT (European Institute for Innovation and

Technology)

• 5 National Centers (CLC’s) across Europe, and a new one on the way – project and

innovation hubs

• 6 further Regional Hubs (RIC’s) – connections to municipalities / implementation centers

We have reach across Europe, from East to West, and North to South

• Direct overall budget in 2013 of around €45mn, and likely growing

• Therein our entrepreneurship activities account for > €10mn pa
