INTRODUCTIONClean Indian Mission (Swachh Bharat

Abhiyan) is a national level campaign by the Government of India to clean the

infrastructure of the country.

Launch of Clean India Mission

. This campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi, where Prime

Minister Narendra Modi himself wielded broom and cleaned a road.

Clean India , Beautiful India This campaign aims to accomplish the vision of

'Clean India' by 2 October 2019, 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

ObjectivesThe program includes Open defecation. Insanitary toilets to

pour flush toilets. Eradication of

manual scavenging. Municipal Solid

Waste Management

Bring about a behavioral change in people.

Generating awareness among citizens.

Strengthening of urban local bodies to fulfill these objectives .

Creating an enabling environment for private sector participation.

If we participate in Swach Bharat Abhiyan India will be Clean and Green Soon

Even Our Prime Minister Narandra Modiji do not feel shame to clean the roads of our India.
