DESCRIPTION
Whether it's because of technological limitations or plain, old inexperience, screwing up research data should be a mandatory part of every UX professional's career development. The more tools you use, the greater the variety of eff-ups. However, a lot of blunders can be quickly boiled down into a few practical morals. Some tools I have used to eff up research data:
What won’t tell you...
Tools won’t tell you when your audio is full of gross noises.
Tools won’t tell you when your video is X-rated.
Censored
Tools won’t filter out embarrassing interruptions to your test.
Tools won’t tell you that they suck.
The power of the eff-up.
