Mikyla’s Simile:

Christchurch’s tumbling

Earthquake rolls violently down the road like a

roller demolishing

worn-out buildings.

Mikyla’s Metaphor:

Christchurch’s Earthquake is a violent roller tumbling down the road, demolishing worn-out buildings.

Georgia’s Simile:

Violent quakes vibrate the city like an angry

elephant stomping

through town.
