Take the time to alter the resume to fit the job description
You need to have a portfolio!
Make sure the information on there is 100% accurate
Eliminate buzz words that may not convey your true skillset
Remove objective statement or anything overly wordy or irrelevant
THE INTERVIEW
Wear a conservative suit with no distracting accessories
Be yourself, show your personality and do not misrepresent your experience.
Be direct and look your interviewers in the eyes.
Turn your cell phone off!
Bring a pen, pad-folio, and several copies of your resume
Know when to talk about compensation
Prepare questions for the interviewer
Ask for the job!
