German Christmas cookies

2 teaspoons

Lebkuchen spices

1 and 1/4 cup of Genauva dark

chocolate gems

Preparation Mix marzipan, sugar, salt and egg whites until smooth and creamy

Add the chopped candied orange, add almonds, hazel nuts, flour,

baking powder and spices

Make a big ball and wrap with plastic foil

Set aside at room temperature until the next day

Preheat the oven on 350°F (180°C)

Roll out the ball until a 0.6in(1.5cm) thick slab

Line 2 sheet pans with baking paper

Cut out the slab with a biscuit cutter (they come in a lot of nice

Christmas shapes)

Bake on 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes

Cool down on a wire rack

Melt and temper Genauva dark chocolate gems

Dip the cookies in the chocolate and let dry

Put it on the lined pan and leave at least 0.8in (2cm) in between
