Its excellent academic and professional education, coastal location and strong commitment to public service make it an ideal location to spend a semester or academic year.

AcademicsStudents accepted into the UNC Wilmington exchange/study abroad program with PUCV will receive credit toward their degree requirement for many majors. Courses will be selected to fit the student’s individual need, language proficiency and academic knowledge. All international students have the option of attending Spanish courses given at the International Program of Student Exchange (PIIE). These courses include Spanish language and cultural studies (including Spanish for Health and Business professionals) and Chilean culture studies.

At PUCV, international students can also attend undergraduate classes with their Chilean peers. Areas of study available include architecture and urbanism, basic sciences and mathematics, economics and administration, education, engineering, journalism, law, social sciences, natural resources, philosophy and religious sciences.

Prior to the beginning of the semester, students attending PUCV also have the option to enroll in either one or two intensive month-long Spanish language program for an additional fee.
