    1. Facing the main church door gointo the churchyard on yourright.

    Leave this churchyard through themetal gate in the railings. Turn left andhead for the stile about one third of theway between the houses and the farm.Go over the stile and turn right tofollow the boundary of this field.(Don’t go thought the gate). There willbe a stile on your right - take it andturn left.

    2. Continue for a short distance tothe corner of the field.

    Turn right and take the metal swinggate. Follow the path around StanfordCourt. Go through another metalswing gate and continue straightahead.

    5. As the path approaches the top ofthe plateau and at the split in thepath, turn right (as if to almostgo back on yourself).

    At the end of the path, with a fieldsome 20 yards in front of you, bearright. Continue, ignoring a secondarypath that goes off to the right.Continue walking, going past an oldhouse. Enjoy the sound of thewaterfall beneath you. Where a pathcomes in from your left carry on,bearing right. Continue and wherepaths split, bear left.

    4. Follow the bridle path thatpasses to the left of the farmbuildings.

    At the end of the buildings, gothrough the metal gate and bear leftto cross the brook. Continue up theincline ignoring the gate on yourright and through one metal gate.Continue uphill. Take another metalgate. At the blue bridleway sign, turnright.

    6. Take the metal gate with a yellow footpath sign. Continue, bearing diagonally across the field to a set of gateposts.At the gatepost, turn left and head for the end of the line of trees.Go through the wooden gate and turn right. Take the gatetowards the middle of the field boundary and carry on straightahead. Continue walking, bearing left to walk around the churchabove you. Walk up the incline to back to the church car park.

    3. Take the stile towards the rightof you and cross the field.

    Carry on walking straight ahead.Cross the brook and take the metalgate set in the field boundary. Crossthe small piece of grass and take thestile. Turn right and walk up thedriveway towards Noverton farm.
