Oxirane derivativesR 0030 Highly Efficient Alkene Epoxidation and Aziridination Catalyzed by Iron(II)
Salt + 4,4',4''-Trichloro-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine/4,4''-Dichloro-4'-O-PEG-OCH3--2,2':6',2''-terpyridine. — Iron complex (Ia) is an effective catalyst for the epoxida-tion and aziridination of alkenes and for the intramolecular amidation of sulfamate esters. It is recovered as its PEG derivative (Ib), that is also active catalyst in the title reactions. — (LIU, P.; WONG, E. L.-M.; YUEN, A. W.-H.; CHE*, C.-M.; Org. Lett. 10 (2008) 15, 3275-3278; Dep.
