HOW TO CHEAT

THREE WAYS TO CHEAT• CHEATING BY TAKING GIVING OR

RECEIVING INFORMATION FROM OTHERS ex. Looking at someone’s paper during a test

• CHEATING THROUGH THE USE OF FORBIDDEN MATERIALS OR INFORMATION ex. Using a cheat sheet/crib notes

• CHEATING BY CIRCUMVENTING THE PROCESS OF ASSESSMENT ex. Arranging to take a test at a time other than the regularly scheduled time

GIVING TAKING RECEIVING

1. Look at another student’s test paper answer sheet or work during a test

2. Drops test so another student can look at it

3. Two students drop tests at different times so they can exchange papers

4. Flying V or Power Wedge5. Communicate with Sign Language

(M&Ms)

6. Share an eraser (or other permissible item) with answers written on them

7. Devise a code for transmitting answers and a method for doing so. (Clicking pens, taps of foot, position of hands on desk. T/F pencil/foot/head (41)

8. High tech version of above using lazer pointer

9. Female – compact mirror to adjust contact lense (sneak a peak at the test behind her)

10. The long walk to freedom. Sit in the rear of the room

11. Same as walk to freedom only use time discussig problem with the instructor to take a peak at exams handed in already.

12. Sitting by a window or door. Whisper questions/pass notes to get answers from a person outside the window/door who uses notes or text to locate answers.

13. Fast taking test taker writes as many answers as he/she can on a scrap of paper/eraser and drops it by the desk of another student when they get up to hand in their test.
