Avenue Station Updates

March/April 2017• Piling is complete at the main and secondary entrance• Monitoring instrument installations from Lascelles Blvd to Braemar Ave

ongoing; over 70 instruments being installed• Excavation will begin at each entrance – starting at Secondary Entrance

– Excavation is completed one level at a time with tie backs and supports installed before moving to next level

– Truck traffic to the site will be approximately 5 trucks per hour per site

2017• Excavation works will continue at Secondary entrance until late

summer, followed by tunneling works• Excavation works will continue at Main entrance until late 2017,

following by tunneling works
