How far have we narrowed gaps? Review of the year
1. What was the journey this year – in your school? Key things we did –what worked / did not work.
2. What was the impact on target pupils and why? (stories and high impact insights – light bulb moments for staff, pupils, parents?)
3. What was the impact on T&L: what has changed in the classroom and in teaching and learning? (How far have teachers implemented change, and how far has this been cascaded? Leadership role?)
4. Trio working – how has working in a trio and JPD improved the programme this year? (ie trios and joint practice both in school and in trios; what was your role in enabling this?)
3
Reviewing the year - process
• The room splits into three/four groups that will move to each table, when prompted
• Chairs will complete an evaluative summary of their question

2. How will we ensure impact on the pupil cohorts from all three Trio schools is significant enough to narrow gaps?
3. How will we ensure the programme has an impact in all classrooms within all Trio schools?
4. How will we ensure that there is real cross-school learning within Trios?

The interview matrix for 12 or more people
Summary1. The room will tackle 4 questions based on the key challenges
identified this morning2. You will all conduct a series of 1:1 interviews to draw out the
combined knowledge in the room3. Then individual summaries with solutions are created for
each question and shared back to the room

• Your numbers will form 4 equal size groups• Each group has a unique question to work on• You will interview 3 people on your question and be interviewed by
3 other people on their question – 6 minutes per interview
• When conducting an interview the purpose is to capture your interviewees thoughts on solutions/approaches/answers/ideas etc
