Our Inspiration

4

"The mission of Chain Up is to internationally connect

women working in the health supply chain who believe

supply chains save lives. The divide between the

pharmaceutical sector and global health is closing, and

we want to ensure that women who have been

managing these health supply chains, and who are the

experts on their regions health supply chains, are

aware of and promoted into leadership roles as they

come available in their countries, and internationally."

Special Thanks to Chain Up

Slack is essentially a chat room designed to replace

email as a method of communication and sharing. Its

workspaces allow you to organize communications by

channels for group discussions and allows for private

messages to share information, files, and more all in

one place.

What is “Slack?”

10

The mission of this platform is built on the assumption that by connecting women

across the supply chain we can design more efficient and effective supply chains

to better serve patients around the world. We encourage you to this slack

channel for the following activities

1) connect with women in your local region as well as internationally

2) post and find opportunities for employment, research, and board positions

3) ask and give career advice to accelerate the next generation of women

supply chain leaders

The idea is for this to be a positive community and supportive network; a place to

share your insights and information and build connections with the purpose of

increasing opportunities in global health for women supply chain managers.
