Senior Lunch Outreach• Started in March 2009• Connects shut-in seniors & disabled with 8th grade

students from GM Jr High• Students matched with driver and deliver hot meal• 2009 Spring – funded 100% by donor• 2009/10 & 2010/11 – recipient pays $1 of $2.75

meal• 2011/12 – 19 recipients paying no additional $

Marty DuBoe-Muncy Scholarship• Began in early 2009• Desire of Marty’s to provide opportunities for

children to participate in recreational sports• In collaboration with the Groveport

Recreation Center• Free lunch – 75%, Reduced lunch – 50%• Last year - $500 distributed

Additional Activities• Waffle House Spirit Night – 1st Friday every month• Groveport School District Flower Sale – Spring & Fall• Poverty Simulation – January 2011• Mad About Madison – April 2011; April 21, 2012• Summer Concert Series – June to August, 3rd Sunday @ Heritage Park• Groveport Farmers’ Market – June-September 2011• Shred-It Event – August 2011• Kids Fest & Back to School Dunk Tank – August 2011• Groveport Car Show – September 2011• Apple Butter Day vendor – 2nd Saturday in October• Giving Thanks Choral Concert – Sunday before Thanksgiving• Family Crisis Response• Power Philanthropy (Columbus Foundation)• Madison Township & Groveport Calendar• Community Garden• Basics in Budgeting Workshop - 2012
