Julia Dwyer and CaineMathias chose ‘DaisyPark’ at Bogan Gate asthe setting for their mar-riage on Friday, October26, 2012.

Julia, a Human Re-sources Consultant, is thedaughter of Matt and FayDwyer of ‘Daisy Park’Bogan Gate.

Caine, a deckhand, isthe son of Colin Mathiasand Sue Halvorsen ofNewcastle.

‘Daisy Park’ was cho-sen for its history with thebride’s family, with hergreat grandfather, the lateWilliam Dwyer drawing

the block in a ballot in1897.

The wedding and re-ception were the first onthe farm in its 115 yearswith the Dwyer family.

Celebrant RhondaKeane presided over theceremony which sawJulia exchange vows in aMaggie Sottero gownfrom Sydney.

The gown featuredGossamer Chiffon with aone-shoulder strap whichtransitioned into a doubleback strap.

Beaded embellish-ments accented the sidewaist and shoulder.

Julia was assisted byher sister and maid of ho-nour Jacqui Dwyer, andher school friends andbridesmaids Melissa Westand Rearne Clarke.

The bridesmaids woreteal satin strapless sweet-heart dresses with a tealchiffon overlay with satinribbon.

The bride and brides-maids designed thedresses which were madein Cowra.

The flowers were aspecial feature of the day,having been broughtdown from Newcastle byLauren, a friend of the

bride.Lauren not only cre-

ated the bride and brides-maids bouquets, but alsotable centres for eachtable.

Caine was assisted byhis three friends KeithHunter, Dale Hourihanand NathanHollingsworth who allplayed a role in the wed-ding.

Keith was responsiblefor the rings and stoodbeside Caine during thewedding ceremony.

Nathan witnessed themarriage certificate andDale spoke on behalf of

the groomsmen duringthe reception.

The men wore self-striped two-piece suitswith the jacket featuringa contrast lapel. Thegroom also wore a vest.

Between the ceremonyand reception guests en-joyed musical entertain-ment by Celia and EmilyPavey.

The reception washeld in a marquee in apaddock at ‘Daisy Park’on a patch of grass thesize of a football field,which was sown, wateredand mown by the bride’sfather especially for the

wedding day.Catering was by Jo

Robson of Canowindra.The wedding cake,

made by Lin Anderson ofthe Forbes Party Favoursand Planning, was athree-tiered caramel,chocolate and whitechocolate mud cakeadorned with white icingand featured flowers onthe top.

Entertainment at thereception was by RiskyBusiness.

A highlight of theevening was the dance byJulia and her father to thesong ‘A night at DaisyPark’ by Wongawilliwhich was written aboutsing alongs held on thefarm many years ago.

Guests travelled to thewedding from Bali, Sin-gapore, around NSW andQLD to attend the wed-ding.

The couple honey-mooned in Koh Samui,Thailand.

Weddingat retreatEcologist Amy Maree Currey wed animal

management ranger Brent Alan Evans at 4pmon Wednesday, November 14, 2013 at TumblingWaters Retreat, Stanwell Tops.

Amy, the daughter of Brian and Maree Cur-rey of Forbes chose a one strap luxurious full-length satin A-line gown which curved softlyaround the hand beaded jewelled neckline.

A feature of the gown was the directionallypleated bodice with side hand beaded jewels.

The asymmetrically dropped waistlinespilled into the side tiered draped skirt withchapel length train.

Completing the ensemble was a fingertip veilwith pearl droplets around the edge.

Jewellery consisted of a pair of pearlteardrop earrings given to the bride by her par-ents and her great grandmother’s engagementring which also acted as ‘something borrowed’.

Amy was supported by her best friend andbridesmaid Monqiue Heitzman who wore afloor length black satin gown featuring a one-should strap adorned with diamontes.

The bride carried a tear drop bouquet of pur-ple and cream tulips tied with the ribbon fromAmy’s grandmother’s wedding bouquet.

Bridesmaid Monique carried purple and or-ange tulips in a posy.

Brent, the son of Greg and Leonie Evans ofTemora, was accompanied by his best friend andbest man Dean Douglas.

A black tuxedo was worn by Brent whileDean work a black suit with an aubergine tie andblack vest.

The groom’s nieces Grace and Olivia Lislecompleted the bridal party.

Amy travelled to and from the wedding in anXY Ford Fairmont which was restored by herfather and brother Adam for her special day.

Wedding music was supplied by violinistsGrace Duo.

The wedding cake was created by AnneMaree Molloy of Wollongong and featuredblack and purple pinstripes with purple roses onthe top.

Photos of the day were captured by JanineKaye.

The couple honeymooned in the Bora Bora,Tahiti for 14 nights.

They have made their home in Wagga.Monique Heitzman, Amy and Brent Evans and Dean
