CDSA Names Unisource Worldwide“2012 Employer of the Year”

The California Disability Services Association’s (CDSA) Excellence in Employment Award program highlights employers with a commitment to diversity in the workplace - demonstrated by their efforts to expand job opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities.

CDSA is a statewide trade association representing more than 80 community-based organizations that help persons with developmental disabilities throughout California find meaningful employment, live independently, and participate in a broad range of activities.

An award ceremony and luncheon was held on Feb. 12, 2013, at the Unisource facility in Sacramento, California.

Approximately 30 PRIDE Industries employees and Sacramento-based Unisource team members were present at the event as the CDSA recognized Unisource for its commitment to provide meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.
