Thamar Wherrit is a

conservation and

forest stewardship

champion caring for

almost 600 acres of

beautiful, visible

forest lands just

west of Mount

Shasta City. She is currently working with the

Siskiyou Land Trust to put a conservation easement

on her property and with the Shasta Valley RCD to

improve forest health and protect against the risk of

fire. 600 acres can be overwhelming for anybody,

so lets come together and help out our neighbor!
