On November 12, DESIGNxRI hosted a Conversation with UK Design Council Policy Advisor Camilla Buchanan in Providence. She was joined design and community leaders and shared examples of the Design Council's work in engaging design thinking and talent to transform businesses and communities for the better. Here's her presentation - showing impact on applying design to business, public sector and social good.

Impact – Yorkshire Flowerpots sales rose from £500,000 to £6m in three years. – Naylor turned over £36m in 2011/12 – Innovation has rippled out through the rest of the business. Over half Naylor’s sales come from products the business wasn’t making five years ago.
