JUROR: AMY SADAO, Daniel Dietrich II Director Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania

Appointed as the Director of the ICA at the University of Pennsylvania in September 2012, Ms. Sadao spent the previous 10 years as the Executive Director of Visual AIDS, a New York-based organization dedicated to provoking dialogue about HIV/AIDS and offering support for HIV-positive artists. Her accomplishments include staging hundreds of on-site, traveling and online exhibitions of contemporary artists and curators, as well as associated catalogues, symposia, performances and advocacy materials. Ms. Sadao has served widely as a consultant and juror for other arts organizations and as a public speaker and media expert. Sadao earned an M.A. in comparative ethnic studies in 2000 from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.F.A. in 1995 from The Cooper Union School of Art.

LIABILITYWhile CAA will handle all work with the utmost care,CAA is not responsible for work that is damaged in any way or for the loss of work by fire, theft, or any other means. University Place & Kathryn Schultz Gallery are secure environments, but all responsibilities rest with the exhibitor.

AGREEMENTNo work will be installed without an exhibitors agreement. CAA reserves the right to photograph accepted works forpublicity and educational purposes. CAA has the right toreject accepted work that differs from submitted images.

ENTRY FEE$35, for up to three works.

SALESAll exhibited work must be available for sale and will be sold at the price indicated on the Slideroom entry form. CAA will not permit changes upon acceptance. A commission of 40% will be retained for each work sold.

DROP-OFFAll artwork must be hand delivered, Friday, December 6,11-5pm or Saturday, December 7, 11-5pm.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS- All mediums accepted: 2D, 3D and video work.- All work submitted must be available for exhibtion dates.- Artwork that has been accepted into a CAA showwithin the past 2-years will not be considered.- Artwork must be gallery ready.- All wall mounted work must be wired for hanging. - Work must be original, no reproductions.- Weight requirements: must not exceed 100lbs.- Size requirements: must not exceed 72 inches on the longest side.- Diptychs/triptychs are considered as a single work, and must be entered as a single jpeg.

Video requirement: For accepted video work, the artist is responsible for providing all necessary display and viewing equipment, including, but not limited to: display monitor, DVD player, mounting hardware, remote controls, batteries.

3D Work Requirement: Accepted sculpture must be accompanied by its own pedestal or method of presentation.- Weight requirements: must not exceed 100 lbs.- Wall mounted 3D work must be wired for hanging.
