DAILY LIFE
HISTORIC HIGHLIGHTS OF SANTA CLARA
TWO CHURCHES
Santa Clara's two churches got burnt down 1825 when it got rebuilt. In May, 1805, a story was brought to the priests that the Indians were planning a general massacre.
RELOCATION
In 1784 after a series of disastrous floods the mission was moved to a new site on higher ground.
MISSION TO DAY
It looks different but Santa Clara is still used as a college today and it is a basketball team as well.
