C A N S p o r t s D a y | A c t i v i t y S t o r y b o o k

Sports Day is going to be really fun! I will get to try lots of different sports!

When I get to BC Place, I will first sign in at CAN’s registration table and get my team colour pinnie!

Sports Day is very busy. I need to stay with my mom or dad.

If I need help, I will ask a CAN staff or a CAN volunteer.

While I wait, I can get my face painted, get a tattoo or go look at the BC Sports Hall of Fame museum!

At Sports Day, I will see many mascots! I can choose to say “hi” and give them a high-five

or I can keep playing.

When I hear the announcement, I need to find my team leader.

At the opening ceremony, I will stay with my group, sing “Oh Canada” and take a group photo.

After the opening ceremony, I will follow my CAN team leader to my activity.

Mom and Dad will be on the field to watch me participate in the activities!

At each sport, I will get to try different activities.

I will have to wait for a turn. I will need to share equipment.

I can cheer on my teammates and give high fives.

Once I have tried all the sports I will be done. I can say goodbye to my friends.
