The teenagers that go to this camp they jog, lift weights, and do acrobatics for 5 hours a day and 7 days a week on months on end. The only food is provided by the coaches, eating healthy is key!

MY FEELINGS

Today the culture of United States and its ideas about democracy travel throughout the world. Do you think the Americanization of countries like China through movies, music, malls, and fast-food restaurants is a good thing or a bad thing?

Americanization in our country is a good thing because some Americans can’t afford to go to a different country. In some cities there are places called China Town, Little Italy etc. that give us Americans a piece of a Chinese culture or an Italian culture in the United States.

Jean didn’t feel American, She was home sick.

Jean also didn’t like to sing Britain’s National Anthem.

She was beaten up because she didn’t sing.

3 CONFLICTS IN THE STORY

When I was in Georgia, visiting my Grandparents

I missed all of my friends, family and animals. I just

longed to be home and to see and to be told what I

heard and missed. Georgia is 2 hours ahead of New

Mexico and we were leaving back home in two weeks

and I was just happy that Georgia has a time difference

and that means I would be home sooner to my friends

and family.
