SHARING THE SCREEN
Video Breakout Rooms allows participants to meet up in separate sessions (50 mins max).
Participants may be split automatically or manually and switch between sessions at any time.
Participants may leave Breakout Room and return to main meeting or leave meeting entirely from here.

ADDING A CO-HOST1. Click on Manage Participants at the bottom of Zoom
2. Hover over the Name of the Participant to be Co-Host3. In the drop-down menu, click Make Co-Host
Host and participants can share their screen or content:1. Click on arrow to the right of Share Screen ᴧat the Zoom bottom toolbar2. To enable One Participant to share, check:

Choose Start/Stop Video to access camera, video controls, and virtual background
Participants can message each other and the Host or Co-Host freely.
Change the Virtual Background:
Record a Meeting to Computer or Cloud:1. Click Record icon on bottom toolbar2. Choose Computer or the Cloud
3. Recorded files can be uploaded to a file storagesuch as Google or Box, or a video streaming service such as You Tube or Vimeo
1. Sign-in and go to UMass Zoom Profile Settings2. Scroll down to Virtual Background 3. Enable Virtual Background4. Return to Zoom camera on Zoom bottom toolbar
5. Select ChooseVirtual Background and selector upload an image

UMass Default Settings: Join Before Host is disabled – no one joins before the Host
File Transfer is disabled – malicious files cannot be distributed
Co-Host feature is enabled to assign others to help moderate
Allow Removed Participants to Re-join is disabled so those kicked out of meeting cannot return
Security & Privacy TIPS:Use Chat Room to help get answers to questions through group and private messaging
Restrict viewing of records to authenticated users
Set password protection for recordings
Lock the meeting to prevent others from joining
Be careful with private messaging. If Participants are concerned that Hosts can see private messages, they cannot. BUT Chat Messages on occasion have been included in recorded meetings when auto-save-chats feature is used
Check out Zoom advanced settings in the bottom toolbar and in profile settings to secure, lock, manage, and enable/disable features to protect meeting spaces and sessions
