Citizens Advice is trialling a way for bureaux to have websites that are:

• inexpensive to build and run • straightforward to maintain• attractive & in keeping with our brand

The aim is to minimise for the bureau:

• time• cost• effort

• We have commissioned a template website

• Two bureaux websites are up and running: • www.bathcab.org.uk• www.sloughcab.org.uk

• The home page is tailored with bureau details and a photo

Bureau websites pilot• All pages reflect specific bureau details

• The website is easily edited by bureaux, using a simple screen

• The website is hosted by web developers Wolftek

• The bureau does not have to maintain a server

• The bureau does not need to know anything about web technologies

• We hope to be able to offer all bureaux a template website

• This is dependent on funding and interest from bureaux

• We are looking at how we can take this forward
