Hi,My name is Bunkie and I’m a
baby cheetah. I live in the zoo with my mommy and siblings. My siblings and I were born here at the zoo, we’re called cubs. Mommy was born in Africa! I don’t really know what Africa looks like but mommy says It’s very hot, pretty, and that I’d like it there.
I’m 6 months old and have yellow fur with black spots. Mommy says when I’m older I’ll have 2,000 of them! My favorite food is meat. And my closest living relative is the Puma.
Mommy says she had to come and live at the zoo because she was endangered, her habitat was being destroyed and her drinking water was polluted.
I love it here at the zoo, I get to hunt and play all morning and afternoon and nap whenever I want. I’ve made a lot of friends here and everyone is really nice to me!
