simpler using a computer.

Before You Get Started • Ask your technology director to set up an iTunes U

account for the district

• You AND your students will need Apple IDs (provided by your district)

• Download the iTunes U app https://goo.gl/CK74Sa

• Have an outline for your course (possibly a syllabus) as your guide

• Gather your materials (images, videos, PDFs, links, etc.)

Getting Started with the Course Manager

1. Go to the iTunes U Course Manager

2. Sign in with your school issued Apple ID

3. Click on Create a New Course

4. Complete the Course Settings

Make sure you complete all

the required fields and add

an image.

5. Click save and start building your course

Getting a Course Code • Your course has to have an image before you can enroll

students

• Click on the Admin tab at the bottom

Adding Contributors to Your Course

• You can add up to 5 contributors to your course

• Contributors have full access to materials and student data

• You will need their Apple IDs to add them

• Click on the Admin tab at the bottom

• Tap on the Admin link at the top and then Instructors

• Enter the Apple ID and send the invitation

Turning In Work • Several apps already have iTunes U built into their

sharing

• For other apps, save to the camera roll (images and videos)
