Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry illustrates a different time of futureIs very strict. In the beginning, Kira’s mother has passed and she is sad.Because of her leg, Vandara wants them the draggers to take Kira to the field. So, they went to the Council of Guardians. Then, Kira stayed at the Council of Edifice and met her friend, Thomas, and makes Jo as a new friend. She start taking treading lessons with Annabelle. After Annabelle passes Kira gets Annabelle’s garden. They were at the gathering and Kira sees what a wonderful job she did on the singer's rode. When, matt gets her two gifts which were blue and her father.
