WewelcomedthenewtermwithourHalloweendisco,whichwasagreatsuccess.ThankyoutoeveryonewhomanagedtoattendandwelldonetoHarryandPoppywhowonbestcostume.Wecouldn’tresistacknowledgingArchie,LiamandRobbieforthemagnificenteffortinmakingMinecraftcostumes!

ThechildrenparticularlyenjoyedrushingfortheirsweetswhentheyfinallyburstthePiñata.AndIthinkwewouldallliketothankKellyforherfabulousfacepainting.

AchievementsWelldonetoKatieandJenniferwhohaverecentlycompletedtheirSVQLevel3ChildcareQualification.Jenniferisnowworkingonherlevel4.

StaffTrainingCherylrecentlyattendedChildBereavementTraining,andKellyandCherylrecentlyupdatedtheirFireWardentraining.AllstaffattendedtheLGBTtrainingprovidedbyMermaidsandall

staffwillattendTransgendertrainingthisterm.

BreakfastClubWewouldliketowishMichellegoodluckinhernewjobinDecember.ThismeansshewillbeleavingusandJenniferwillbetakingherplaceatthebreakfastclub.

CelebrationsSofarthistermwehavebeencelebratingHalloween,GuyFoxandRemembranceDay.ChildrenandstaffcametoASCwiththeironesies/pyjamasoninsupportofChildreninNeedandweenjoyedfacepainting,nailpaintingandbaking.

WehadlotsoffunmakingourownpumpkinsusingPaperMacheandarelookingforwardtocreatingsomefantasticChristmasgifts!

UpcomingEventsOurChristmasdiscowilltakeplaceonFriday16thDecember.Ifwe

singloudenoughSantaClausemayevenpayusavisit!Allchildrenarewelcome,howeverifyourchilddoesnotusuallyattendtheservicethatdaypleasedropthemoffat3.30pmtothedininghallandcollectnolaterthan5.30pm.

KeepingActiveWearelookingforwardtoNataliecomingintodoZumbainDecember,whichI’msure,bothchildrenandstaffwillenjoy.

SchoolClosureTheschoolwillcloseforChristmasonWednesday21ndDecember2016.

Theservicewillopenintimetomeetthechildrenfinishingschoolandwillcloseattheearliertimeof5.15pmthatdaysopleasebesuretoarriveontime.Schoolholidaysaredisplayedwithintheservice.

NewChildrenTheprimaryonesandallnewcomerstotheservicehavesettledinwell.Ifanyparent/guardianhasanyqueriespleasedon’thesitatetocontactusbyphoneordropintotheservice.Tuesday,WednesdayandThursdayarenowourbusiestdaysandawaitinglistwillnowbeopened.

Kellyhasbeensupportingthechildrenindevelopingour’allseasonwalldisplay’,whichwillsoonbedawningsnowflakesandacosyoutfit.

SHANARRIManyoftheactivitiesthatthechildrentakepartinatafterschoolcaremeetmorethanoneSHANARRIindicator,howeverthistermweareconcentratingonbeingResponsible.Thechildrenhavebeenpracticingbeingresponsibleinthecloakroombymakingsuretheyhangtheirbelongingsup,whichwehopewillalsominimisethelevelofmislaiditems.

Despitethedarkernightsandwetweatherwewillendeavourtogetoutsideeverydaysopleasesendyourchildwithsuitablewarm/waterproofclothingandfeelfreetoputspareshoesintheirbag.Wealsohavehighvisibilitybeltstoallowustomaintainhighlevelsofsafetywhenplayingoutdoorsinthedarkerseasons.
