Brainstorming is a technique, generally used in a group setting,

to quickly generate a large number of ideas about a specific

problem or topic

Brainstorming can help you

>> Encourage creative thinking and generate enthusiasm

>> Encourage participation and building on the ideas of others

What are the RULES ?

THEREAREN’T ANY….

…but there are guidelines…

>> Withhold your judgment of ideas

>> Encourage wild and exaggerated ideas

>> Quantity counts on this stage not quality

>> Build on the ideas put forward by others

>> Every person and every idea has equal worth

Is Brainstorming just for

CREATIVES?

Absolutely not!

>> Brainstorming should consist of variety of people

>> Different skills>> Different personalities>> Familiar and unfamiliar with project/topic

>> Around 8-10 people

ROLE?

What’s my role in Brainstorming?

>> To suggest ideas which will work as solution

>> To suggest ideas/thoughts/references which will simulate ideas in others

>> But most iportantly: to SPEAK UP! No matter how stupid your idea seems
