Using your BodyBare epilatorBefore using your epilator for the first time• Thisepilatormustbefullychargedbeforeusingforthefirsttime.• Toreachoptimumrechargecapacity,thebatteriesshouldinitiallybe

chargedfor4hours.Donotrechargeforlongerthanthis.• Thechargingindicatorlightwilllightupredtoshowyouthattheunitis

charging.• Onsubsequentcharging,youshouldrechargeforapproximately1hour.

Thechargingindicatorlightwillchangetogreenoncetheunitisfullycharged.Thiswillprovideupto40minutesofcordlessuse.

• Ensurethattheepilatorisswitchedoff.Insertthechargingleadintotheadaptorinlet,plugtheadaptorintoasuitablemainsoutletandswitchon.

• Neverusetheepilatorcordedintheshowerorbath.• Toextendthelifeoftheepilatorwerecommendthatyoufullydrainthe

batterieseverysixmonths.

Using your Epilator• Thisunitcannotbeturnedonoroperatedwhentheunitispluggedinwith

thecordintheelectricaloutlet.Itcanonlybeoperatedcordless.• BeforeusingyourBodyBareepilatorforthefirsttime,werecommendthat

youfamiliariseyourselfwithhowtheappliancefeelsontheskin.Trytheunitonthebackofthehandbeforeusingitondelicateareassuchastheface.

• Ifusingtheepilatordry,werecommendthatyouhaveawarmshowerorbathbeforeuseandusealoofahorexfoliatingcreamtopreparetheskin.Ensurethattheskiniscleananddry.Donotuseoverbodylotionsormoisturises.

• Youcanalsouseyourepilatorintheshower.Itisrecommendedthatyoudon’tuseitinthebath.Removetheprotectivecoverandswitchon.

• Silverlontechnologyprovidesantibacterialprotection.• Therearetwosettings.UsesettingIonfinehairandsettingIIonthicker

orcoarserhair.PushthespeedsettingbuttontoselectsettingI,IIortoturnunitoff.

• Whenremovinghairitisveryimportanttoholdtheskinverytauttoavoidpinching.

• Ifhairislongerthan5mm,trimwithscissorsbeforeuse.

isnoneedforstubbletoappearbeforeepilating.• Theappliancecanbeusedonthelegs,bikiniline,underarmsandface.• TheEmjoiBodyBareAquaSmoothisonlyintendedtoremovesinglehairs

fromtheupperlipandchin.Holdareatautanduseasmallbrushingmotion.

oftheunit.• Attachtheshavingheadwiththeprotectivecapon,andpressuntilit

clicksintoplace.Note:Whenplacingtheshavingheadintotheunit,makesurethattheteethedwheelontheunitandtheteethedwheelontheshaverheadlineup.• Removetheprotectivecapanditisreadytouse.Important:The9-bladeshaverrollerismadeofpatentedrazorblades.DonottouchthebladeswithyourfingerswhentheunitisturnedOFForONasitcancutyourskin.Important:Youmustuseshavinggelorfoam(notcontainingsilicon)whileusingthisunit.ShavinggelorfoamcontainingsiliconshouldnotbeusedwithEmjoiAquaSmoothasitmaycausedefectstotheunit.Important:Do not dry shave.Important:Pleaseconfirmnomalfunctiononthe9-bladeshaverrollerbeforeuse.Ifyoushouldfindanydefectonthespiralwindingsandbladeswithwornandnickededges,pleasereplacewithanew9-bladeroller.• Wettheareasyouwishtoshavewithwater.• Applyshavinggelorfoamtolegs,bikinilineorunderarms.Applyonly

Onepush -turnONandLowmodeforaveragegrowthorfinehair Twopushes-changetoHighmodeforheavygrowthorcoarsehair• Wettheshavinghead.• Begintoshavequicklyinanydirection.Glidetherazorovertheskin,

thereisnoneedtoaddpressure.Ifyoupresstoohardsometimesminorcuts,similartorazorcuts,mayoccurbutwillquicklydisappear.Werecommendedshavinganydirectionontheunderarmsandbikinilineandlongstrokesonthelegs.

For best results keep continuous contact with the shaving head and your skin.Note:Thefirsttimeyouusethe9-bladeshavinghead,thesensationyoufeelwillbedifferentfromthatofarazorbladeorelectricshaver.Thisfeelingisperfectlynormalandwillquicklydisappearonceyourtechniquefortheperfectshavehasbeenachieved.

• Ifneeded,rinseshavingheadduringyourshave. Thedesignallowsyoutoshaveinanydirection(longstrokesagainstthe

grainofhairgrowthorcircularstrokes).Forthesmoothestresults,shaveagainstthegrain.

• Aftershaving,presstheON/OFFbuttononceagaintoturntheunitoff.• Keeptheprotectivecapontheunitwhenitisnotinuse.

Changing The 9-Blade Shaving Roller•MakesuretheunitisturnedOffbeforereplacingthe9-bladeroller.•Pleasetakeextracarewhenreplacingthe9-bladerollerandnottotouch

thebladeswithyourfingersasthiscanresultincuttingtheskin.•The9-bladerollercontainsfragileparts,pleasehandlethemwithcare.•Replacethe9-bladerollerwhenyoufindanydefectsontherollerorwhen

youfeelsomethingscratchingorworseshavingresult.Note:9-bladerollerswithwornandnickededgescouldcausedamagetoskin.Ifthespiralwindingsarebroken,replacethenewrollerimmediately.Donotusethe9-bladerollerifthebladesorspiralwindingsaredamaged.

1.Pulldownthereleasebutton,onthesideoftheshavingheadandthe9-bladeshavingrollerwillpopout.

2.Afterthe9-bladeshavingrollerpopsout,removeitfromtheshaverheadattachmentcylinderanddisposeofit.Seefigure1.

3.Removethereplacement9-bladeshavingrollerfromtheprotectivecapbypressingthebottomwithyourpointerfingerandcatchingitinthepalmofyouroppositehand.Seefigure2.

4.Placeanewreplacement9-bladeshavingrollerintotheshavingheaduntilyouheara“click”sound.Besuretoinsertthenew9-bladerollerintotheunitwiththethinnersidegoingintotheshavinghead.Seefigure3.

• Afterexfoliation,presstheON/OFFbuttononceagaintoturntheunitoff.• Keeptheprotectivecaponyourunitwhenitisnotinuse.• Changetheexfoliationrolleroncewornanddisposeofusedroller.

Using The Exfoliation Head

Care and CleaningCleaning The Eplilator HeadRegularcleaningandgoodmaintenanceensuresoptimumresultsandwillextendthelifetimeofyourEmjoiAquaSmooth.• Donotimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.• Beforecleaning,makesuretoturnOFFyourunitandifyouhaveit

pluggedin,unplugitfromtheelectricaloutlet.• Removethedischousingfromtheepilatorhead

bysqueezingbothsidesofthedisccoverandpullingup.Seefigure5.

• Usingthecleaningbrushenclosed,removehaironallsidesofthediscs.

• Alternativelyyoucancleanthetweezerswithwater.Makesuretounplugyourunitfromtheelectricaloutlet.TurnyourunitONandrinsethetweezersundertherunningtap.TurnOffyourunitandgentlyshaketoremoveanymoisture.

• Allowtheunittodrybeforereplacingthedisccoverandthenputtheprotectivecapontosafeguardthetweezers.

• Toremoveresiduefromthetweezers,userubbingalcoholonthetipofthetweezerswithacottonswabthathasbeensqueezeddry.Removeanyresiduealcoholbeforeusingagain.

Note:Makesurethatthecottonswabisnotsoakedwithalcohol.
